The Legacy Advisor Process
Clearer conversations. Better-sequenced decisions.
A Legacy Advisor helps customers move from uncertainty to a clear, responsible next step through a consistent five-part process: Listen, Clarify, Map, Connect, and Continue. The process begins with the whole picture, respects professional boundaries, and keeps the customer in control of what happens next.
Book a Phone CallA defined standard of service
The value is not having every answer. It is knowing how to move the conversation forward.
Legacy 72 establishes the training, service and accountability standards behind the Legacy Advisor experience.
A Legacy Advisor does not replace a Realtor, lender, CPA, attorney, insurance professional, investment professional or other specialist.
Instead, the Legacy Advisor helps the customer step back from the immediate decision, understand the larger picture, organize the questions that matter and determine what deserves attention first.
When specialized guidance may be useful, the Legacy Advisor helps clarify what type of professional should be involved, requests permission before making an introduction and helps keep the next step clear.
The customer remains in control and always retains the ability to choose their own professionals.
The Customer Experience
Listen. Clarify. Map. Connect. Continue.
The goal is not to overwhelm customers with more information. It is to help them understand what is happening, organize what matters and leave the conversation with a clear, responsible next step.
Listen
Understand what is changing, what the customer is trying to accomplish, who is affected, what has already been decided and what still feels unclear. Listening comes before discussing possible solutions.
Clarify
Separate known facts, open questions, approaching decisions and areas that may require qualified professional guidance. Explain appropriate general concepts in plain language without going beyond the Legacy Advisor’s role or authority.
Map
Organize the situation into the right sequence. Identify what deserves attention first, what should happen after that and what should remain on the radar.
Connect
When specialized expertise may be useful, explain what type of qualified professional may help and why. Ask permission before making an introduction or sharing information. The customer retains the right to choose.
Continue
Confirm whether the handoff occurred, provide appropriate status updates and keep ownership of the next action clear. Continue until there is a clear status, completed handoff or understood next step.
Listen → Clarify → Map → Connect → Continue
The standard behind the process
Service built around clarity, responsibility, and trust.
Education before recommendation
Customers should understand the conversation and the questions worth asking before evaluating a specific strategy, product, or professional service.
Clarity before complexity
Important conversations should become easier to understand. Complexity should never be used to manufacture authority.
Boundaries build trust
A Legacy Advisor respects the limits of their role, training, and licenses—and knows when another qualified professional should be involved.
Service beyond the transaction
The relationship is larger than one closing, commission, referral, product, or immediate opportunity.
A responsible process
One process. Multiple areas of expertise.
One trusted relationship does not mean one person knows everything. It means the customer has someone prepared to recognize how important decisions connect, organize the conversation and help determine when another qualified professional should be involved.
Knowing when to involve another professional is not a limitation. It is part of the standard.
Individualized legal, tax, investment, mortgage, insurance, and real estate decisions should be reviewed with the appropriately qualified and licensed professionals.
Beyond the transaction. Into the legacy.
